WHAT HAPPENED

In November 2020, Netgain Technology, LLC (“Netgain”), a third-party provider based in St. Cloud, MN that offers computer services to organizations like The Todd Organization, reported that it experienced a ransomware incident that resulted in encryption of certain Netgain systems. Upon learning that The Todd Organization files were potentially impacted on December 16, 2020, we took immediate steps to investigate the event.  On June 1, 2021, we concluded our review of the files and determined that impacted file(s) contained personal information of some of our clients.

While we are not aware of any actual or attempted misuse of this personal information, we wanted to provide information about the incident and the steps we are taking in response to guard against any disruptions.

HOW WE ARE PROTECTING YOU

We take this incident and the security of personal information in our care very seriously. If you received a letter, to help protect your identity, we are offering complimentary access to Experian IdentityWorksSM and Identity Restoration for 24 months.

Experian Identity Restoration: This service is automatically available to you with no enrollment required. If a problem arises, simply call
(833) 549-2143, provide engagement number B013857 and a dedicated identity restoration specialist will help restore your credit and make sure your identity is returned to its proper condition.

Experian IdentityWorksSM is available upon enrollment and includes credit monitoring, a daily Experian credit report, internet surveillance and up to $1M Identity theft insurance*. In addition, it provides the ability to set fraud alerts on your credit file to help protect you from credit fraud. To request this service, please enroll by September 30, 2021 by following the steps below.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

  • Your identity protection is completely free for two years.
  • Review your credit card statements and call your financial institution if you see any suspicious transactions.
  • Be aware of phone calls or emails that appear to offer you identity theft protection but are truly phishing schemes designed to steal your information. Always go directly to the The Todd Organization website or to the Experian website for information about the services we are offering.
