How Blue Cross of Idaho is Protecting You

We’ve been working with the Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) in our ongoing efforts to ensure your private information remains secure. We’re proud to join the BCBSA to provide eligible members free identity protection service. This adds an additional layer of protection for your bank account, credit cards and medical history.

We’ve partnered with Experian to provide identity protection services to eligible members. If you need identity repair assistance, the team at Experian is ready and standing by to assist you. There is no action required on your part at this time. If a problem arises, simply call Experian at 855-726-7369 and a dedicated investigator will work with you to recover any financial losses, restore your credit and make sure your identity is returned to its proper condition. Be prepared to provide engagement number B100352 as proof of eligibility.

For additional protection, you may enroll in Experian IdentityWorksSM with credit monitoring at any time while you are a Blue Cross of Idaho member, at no cost to you. This service offers additional layers of protection, including Experian credit report at signup, credit monitoring, internet surveillance, up to $1 million of identity theft insurance and more. Please follow the steps below to enroll.

Important Reminders

  • Your identity protection is completely free. You will never be charged.
  • Be aware of phone calls or emails that appear to offer you identity theft protection but are phishing schemes designed to steal your information. Always go directly to the Experian website for information rather than selecting links in emails that are not from Experian.
  • These services offered by Experian are only available to Blue Cross of Idaho members.

How to Request Additional Protection

  1. Select Submit.
  2. When prompted, enter the activation code BCID24
